Prenatal Resources

Baby Your Baby
Baby Your Baby is a cooperative effort between the Utah Department of Health, Intermountain Healthcare, and KUTV 2News Fresh Air. The program was designed to provide helpful information for parents and their children.
Car Seats
Car crashes are the leading cause of death among children ages 14 and under. Children need to be properly restrained in car seats or booster seats. In Utah County, 88% of car seats are installed incorrectly. The Utah County Health Department offers a number of resources to ensure that your car seat is properly installed.
Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC)
WIC is a nutrition program that helps pregnant women, new mothers, and young children eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy. Nutrition education and counseling, nutritious foods, and help accessing health care are provided to low-income women, infants, and children through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program.
